Stand Out & Creative Training Programme

Helping those aged 18-30 who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment with 1-1 coaching, support with training, and routes into volunteering and employment.

Stand Out & Creative Training Programme

The Stand Out Project is linked to the Commonwealth Games taking place in Birmingham in 2022. The initial idea for the project was to encourage young people aged 18-30 to apply to volunteer for the Commonwealth Games – the deadline for this part of the project has now passed – yet the project continues into an exciting new phase.
The project is now focussed on helping those aged 18-30 who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment with 1-1 coaching, focussed on support with training, and routes into volunteering and employment. This project runs until December 2022.
As a Stand Out provider, we are also given direct links to paid employment opportunities that will come from the Commonwealth Games – and these include roles within the Creative and Performing Arts Sector.
Here at Gazebo, we are offering two pathways on this project – one that gives support into volunteering and employment in any industry, and the other that is focussed on supporting those wishing to gain employment with the Creative and Performing Arts Industry.
As part of the Creative Training Programme, young people will get:
– A dedicated coach who will meet with them regularly, creating action plans and focussing on personal development and progress with training, volunteering and employment.
– Access to any of our session that we are running as part of the Creative Training Programme. The current timetable runs until the end of December 2021.
